Position 1:

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the position of “Research Associate” (Rs. 16,000/- + HRA p.m.) in DBT sponsored project entitled “Molecular analysis, biochemical study and physiological significance of protein- L –isoasparty1 (D-asparty1) O-methy1transferanse (PIMT)from stress tolerance plants and its exploitation to enhance seed vigor, viability and seed longevity in plants”. The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, but can be curtailed or extended based on the performance and discretion of the Competent Authority.

Candidates having Ph.D. in any discipline of life sciences are eligible to apply. Experience of working with plant systems is highly desirable.

NIPGR may select candidate in the lower position against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.

The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, but can be curtailed or extended based on the performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. The stipend will be as per DBT rules.
Candidates having Ph.D. in any discipline of life sciences are eligible to apply. Experience of working with model plant Arabidopsis thaliana is highly desirable though not essential.
