IGIB, Delhi, desires to engage qualified incumbents for four purely temporary positions of one MBBS doctor and three Project Assistants (Level II/III/IV) under the Task Force (NWP0032) (Diabetes mellitus- New drug discovery R & D, molecular mechanisms and genetic & epidemiological factors).
Essential qualifications: MBBS doctor : M.B.B.S. degree. Inclination to pursue translational research is desirable. Previous research experience is not necessary. Opportunities for mentored research and enrollment in a PhD program are possible for suitable candidates.

Project Assistant (Level II/III): M.Sc. in any branch of Life sciences/Medical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Physical Sciences for Level II or MA in Social Sciences or Sociology/Bachelor degree with post graduate diploma in Sociology or Social Sciences for Level II. M.Sc. in any branch of Life sciences/Medical Sciences/Chemical Sciences/Physical Sciences with documented at least two(2) years experiences for Level III or MA in Social Sciences or Sociology/Bachelor degree with post graduate diploma in Sociology or Social Sciences with documented at least two(2) years experiences for Level III.
