Educational Qualification : First class Postgraduate in Bioinformatics
OR
First class Postgraduate in Life Sciences/ Chemistry / Physics/Biotechnology with advanced diploma in Bioinformatics
Age : Below 30 years as on the last date of advertisement.
Skill set : In-depth knowledge of Bioinformatics domain with specialization in Genome sequence analysis and Micro Array Data Analysis with a good knowledge of algorithms and statistical methods. Should be proficient in programming with C, Fortran, Java, Perl/Python etc. on the UNIX Platform
RESERVATIONS
All positions in grade / pay scale are on fixed duration and against approved projects. Out of above 5 positions 1 is reserved for SC, 2 is reserved for OBC. Physically handicapped, meritorious sports persons and ex-servicemen eligible for reservation shall also be considered according to the Government of India regulations.
Candidates would also be considered for deputation from Govt. Institutions. Deputee would be place according to the norms of deputation of Govt. Of India. C-DAC would also entertain Lien in addition to Deputation.

OR
First class Postgraduate in life sciences/ Chemistry / Physics/Biotechnology with advanced diploma in Bioinformatics with 7 years experience.
OR
Ph. D with 4 years relevant experience.
Age : Below 37 years as on the last date of advertisement.
