Application on plain paper along with a brief bio-data and attested copies of relevant certificates in support of age, educational qualification and experience etc. are invited from eligible candidates for StudentshipITraineeship under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India sponsored Bioinforlnatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), College of Veterinary Science, Assam Agricultural University, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. The engagements will be purely temporary for a period of 6 months and are terminable at any time without prior notice or without assigning any reason thereof. The persons engaged shall not be entitled for any claim implicit or explicit for permanent absorption in the University.
The applications may be submitted to the Coordinator, BIF, College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022 on or before 20"' January, 20 10.
1. Remuneration : Rs. 5,0001- per month (consolidated)
2. Qualifications :
(a). Studentship (to carry out project work): Students per6iilg postgraduate degree in
Bioinformatics in a reputed institution of the country.
(b). Traineeship: Candidates with a Postgraduate Degree in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or any discipline of Veterinary Science.
Preference will be given to fresh postgraduates with experience in Bioinformatics tools lhandling of Bioinforlnatics softwareldatabase development/related field.
The maximum age limit for traineeship is 28 years as on 1st Janwy, 2010.
