Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following purely temporary positions of Studentships and Traineeships under DBT funded Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar.
1. Traineeships – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months.
Salary: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics / B.Tech. / B.E/ M.Sc (Computer Science) /MCA. with knowledge in Bioinformatics.
Desirable Qualification: Prior knowledge of programming languages such as C, VB, SQL etc. and software/database development.
2. Studentship – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months
Salary: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed
Essential Qualification: Students pursuing postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics
Desirable Qualification: Basic working knowledge of computer and network.
How to apply: Applications, neatly typed on plain paper, stating the name, address, date of birth, educational qualifications, email ID and experiences and a proposed brief write up of the proposed project work he/she want to carry out in the 6 months period and the facilities required for the project work, along with attested hotocopies of mark sheets and certificates should reach the Coordinator on or before 20th March 2010.
The application should be duly forwarded by HOD/Dean/Registrar/Principal of the intuition where the candidate is enrolled or studies
Short-listed Candidates will be called for the interview on 30th March 2010. No TA & DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
