Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following purely temporary positions of RA/ Studentships/ Traineeships under DBT funded Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF), Centre for Studies in Biotechnology, Dibrugarh University.
1. Research Associate (RA) – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of one year and may be continued depending on the performance or other conditions.
Salary: Rs.16,000/- p.m. +15% HRA.
Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics Or M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences with an Advanced P.G. Diploma in Computer Science Or BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc Computer Science/ MCA
Desirable Qualification: Experience in managing large servers, storage and network system. Linux/SQL, Scripts, Biodiversity Database development, Protein modelling and molecular phylogeny.
Age: below 35 years.
2. Traineeships – 01 (one post) purely temporary for a period of six months.
Salary: Rs.5000/- p.m. fixed.
Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Biotechnology Bioinformatics or any other branch of Life Sciences / B.Tech. / B.E/ M.Sc (Computer Science) /MCA. with knowledge in Bioinformatics.
