Applications are invited for two temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow for a period of three months in a project entitled “Structural bioinformatics for effective and efficient drug discovery” sponsored by DBT, GOI within “Indo-Finland Bilateral Cooperation” in computational biology related to drug development, under Dr. C.Gopi Mohan, Centre for Pharmacoinformatics, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Punjab.
Post: Junior Research Fellow
Salary: Rs. 12,000/-p.m. (+HRA if applicable)
Qualifications: Post graduate degree in Bioinformatics/Pharmacoinformatics/Chemistry.
Final semester students may also apply.
Desirable: Good experience in molecular modeling software and competent in programming C++, JAVA, Perl.
Upper Age Limit: 28 years (relaxation for SC/ST/PH as per GOI rules)
The above positions are purely contractual in nature and none of the post holds right to permanency. Eligible applicants are invited for a walk-in-interview on 08.07.2009 from 10 am till 12 pm in the Conference Room, Secretariat Block, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar along with their application (addressed to the Director, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar) on plain paper, CV, testimonials in original (the degree or the final mark sheet should be available on the day of interview) and their attested copies, other relevant details and application fee of Rs. 50/- (Rs. 25/- for SC/ST) in the form of DD (Drawn in favor of Director, NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar). No TA/DA shall be paid to attend the walk in interview.
