Eligible and interested candidates are invited for the purely temporary positions of in the following Fields/Areas for the Sponsored /ICRA projects tenable at NBRI:-
Area I.Biomass BioLogy & Eco-Auditing
Project Assistant Level II
Essential Qualifications: 1st class M.Sc. in Environmental Science/ Botany/ Plant Science/ Biotechnology.
Desirable Qualification: Two years experience in cultivation of Bio-fuel plant or tree species, knowledge of Microsoft Excel and statistics software.
Job requirement: Demonstration plantation and evaluation of plant growth and soil analysis of the plantation.
Area II. Pharmacognosy/Ethnopharmacology
Project Assistant Level III (ICAR-RA)
Essential Qualifications: Ist Class M.Sc in Botany with two years research experience.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in collection of Medicinal Plants
Project Assistant Level II (ICAR-SRF)
Essential Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc. in Botany.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in collection of Medicinal Plants
STIPEND: For Project Assistant Level III Rs.17000/ Rs.14000/-p.m./Rs.10000/-p.m. (Consolidated) For Project Assistant Level II Rs. 12000/- p.m/Rs.10000/-p.m./Rs.8000/-p.m..(Consolidated)
DATE & VENUE OF INTERVIEW:
For Area I on 20.04.2009,
Area II on 21.04.2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Conference Room, Genetic Block, NBRI, Lucknow.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Upper age limit not exceeding 32 year for Project Assistant Level III & 28 years for Project Assistant Level II as on the date of interview. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 05 years and OBC candidates 03 years as per Government of India instructions.
The Application form will be provided at the venue on the date. However candidate may download the application form in advance from the website www.nbri-lko.org. At the time of interview candidates should bring attested copies of certificates of all passed examinations starting from matriculation, date of birth, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and experience certificate etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and result awaited will not be considered. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at venue on date 30 minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.
Mode of Selection: Through Interview. However, if large number of candidates turn up, a Screening test comprising of multiple choice objective questions may be held for short listing the candidates for interview. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by Selection Committee and based on their performance in the interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed The panel shall be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the respective field in the sponsored project in the relevant field/area. Candidates have the option to interact in Hindi/English before the committee.
The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co terminus with the sponsored projects. Further the above stipend is tentative and the same will be finally decided based on the emoluments in the sponsored project.
Candidate who strictly fulfill the eligibility and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects only should turn up for floating interview to avoid any inconvenience.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
